Proverbs tells us that knowledge begins with the fear of the Lord.  So whether it is academics or sports parents have to teach first and foremost who God is and why He send Jesus Christ is son to die for our sins.  So the emphasis needs to be on righteous lessons our children and students are taught from teachers, coaches and parents.

Pr 13 tells us that that the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.  So for parents who chose to home school to limit their child&#039;s exposure to the inadequacies and inconsistency of traditional public school, as righteous believers in Christ Jesus, they are still afforded access to the athletic programs offered by school.

I agree with Peace, that as tax payers working and paying taxes, children in the same community should have access.  In the natural sense, the parent&#039;s choice to home school saves instructional cost, class size, equipment and the like.

I look at choice this way for schools.  The K-12 experience is to expose a child to all learning opportunities so that they can decide what best suits their interest.  Much like the first time a child has hamburger.  Most like it with only ketchup a burger and a bun.  As the child grows and the taste buds develop those plain simple burgers come with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, cheese and many other combinations.

We must continue to train up children in fear of God, righteousness and truth based on the Bible which is why Bible study and Sunday school is as important and Sunday worship.  This is when these questions should be asked and discussed within a congregation so that the body of Christ understands the passion the Jesus had.

John 1 tells us Jesus came for a people that didn’t receive him, but those who did he gave them power.  It never says Jesus was disgruntled or angry that they didn&#039;t believe.  It ever turn he offered them wisdom, forgiveness and understanding, up until he yield his Spirit on the cross of Calvary.

True believers understand 1 Corinthians 3 that says one plants, one waters and God gives the increase.  All believers in the Body of Christ are ministers or helpers to their brothers and sisters.  It is not done for gain or profit or so that the community gives back.  Rather that one soul or many souls come to know the saving grace of Jesus.  A true pastor would explain this to his congregants.

Frustrated, remember these two commandments of Jesus and your frustrations will be replaced with love.  Matthew 22:37-40 tells us to first, love the Lord with all our heart soul and mind.  And second, it tells us to love our neighbor as our self.  So by &quot;giving in one direction&quot; to those neighbors in need is equal to giving to you.  It is ultimately out of love for God.  And our reward for giving is the Holy Spirit which leads and guides our footsteps and our paths.  The Holy Spirit orchestrates and directs us so if we never get anything from the person we give to, God gives it back to us in wisdom, knowledge, health and grace.</description>

		<description>Choice means giving a person the right to choose. In this instance the children do not have a choice. I admit adults are not the best examples at times for their children, with some of the choices made, but we should not punish the children for decisons made by the parents.

&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Jeremiah 31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;

The above scriptures means that the children should not be punished for the wrongs of the father.  The parents should lead the children into right, but when they do not, the children will judged for their own wrong doings and not what the parent did.  Children should be given every opportunity to explore who they can be come, as long as it is righteous.

On the civil side, all taxpayers should have access to the same benefits. The public schools are for the public&#039;s use and if the determination has been made that children of taxpayers are able to participate in atheletic events then we follow the laws of the land.

&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;

On your other point, God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. Freely we have received from the Lord freely we give.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

Christ Jesus our Lord tells us to give. The church would do a disservice to the name of Christ Jesus not to give to those in need. On the other hand, the Bible says if you do not work you do not eat. The Holy Scriptures do not encourage laziness, but it does encourage helping the less fortunate among us, whether it be children or adults.</description>

		<description>I just finished reading an article on WRAL&#039;s website about allowing kids to participate in high school athletics even if they are home schooled.  They would be allowed to participate at the high school they are assigned to.  If you believe that athletic programs are an extension of a school&#039;s academic program, then how can you allow a parent to say I don&#039;t think you classroom instruction is suitable for my child but I want him/her to participate in the athletic instruction offered by the school.  You can&#039;t have it both ways - its called choice.

This got me to thinking about church.  If you have someone who receives the benefits a church has to offer, such as sermons, pastor visits, help for the needy, etc but doesn&#039;t give back anything to the church, how long do you think it will be before members of the congregation rise up and voice their complaints to the pastor?  They are following the doctrine of it is better to receive than give.  I have a feeling a lot of church goers practice this methodology.  What should we as members of a church do?  I can only tolerate so much giving in one direction.</description>

		<description>Moses and Elijah represented the law and the prophets which were fulfilled in Christ Jesus.   The Law and the Prophets represented all of the Old Testament scriptures.   But the key verse is Matthew 17:5.   In this the Heavenly Father said to hear Jesus, because Jesus the Christ was the fulfillment of the Law and Prophets.  Therefore if you listened to Christ you will understand the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 17:5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Moses died a physical death.   His appearance on the Mount of Transfiguration shows that God is the God of the living and not the dead.  In other words there is no such thing as soul sleep.   Soul sleep means that you rest in the earth until the resurrection.   Once we die we now go into the presence of God or we enter into hell.   Moses as alluded to in the Book of Jude went to be with God the Father.

Deuteronomy 34:7  And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Jude 1:9  Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.</description>

Christ Jesus our Lord said as a man thinketh so is he.   Everything that we take in, whether consciously or subconsciously, affects our behavior.    

Continuing to watch things that are horrific will desensitize us to true tragedies.   That is why it no longer bothers you as an adult.   This is why people are so indifferent when there is murder in a high crime neighborhood.   They have seen and heard so much about murder that it no longer bothers them.  This is what watching such horrific things can do to you.

You must also be aware that everything you take in affect your future actions.    Do you find yourself going to new places looking over your shoulder.   Are there certain neighborhoods you are afraid to enter.   Do you find yourself saying things that you thought you would never say.   All these actions or reactions are caused by experiences you had in life either through viewing or hearing or participating.

We as believers must be careful to guard the entry ways into our hearts.   If you do view these things, think about what the response of a Christian should be in such situations.    This way it will prepare you to behave as a Christian should something tragic happen.

Philippians 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things</description>

		<description>In a world where God-fearing, sanctified and Holy Spirit filled Christians are in the minority; it is good to know that in the end, WE WIN!!!

      Serving the True and Living God is the least road taken today, with the majority of mankind choosing to take the broad and crooked road of the world. Self-indulgence, immorality and a total disregard for the ways of our Lord will lead many down that road of destruction. PRAISE BE TO GOD, our HEAVENLY FATHER, through CHRIST JESUS our SAVIOR and REDEEMER, that we as believers do not have to suffer the same fate.

      It is by the precious, shed blood of Christ Jesus that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness, forgiven of our sins, born again unto Almighty God our Heavenly Father, and having our names written in The Lamb’s Book of Life that we CAN rejoice and be exceedingly glad about the future.

      Be ye prayerful, be ye watchful, be ye always ready for the soon return of Jesus. Regardless of the turmoiluous days ahead, remember that our hope and salvation is in the LORD.</description>

INTRODUCTION TO THE HISTORY OF ISRAEL

It is generally known that the nation of Israel began with the call of God to Abraham in Genesis Chapter 12.
1 And the LORD said to Abram, Go out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house into a land that I will show you. 2 And I will make you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. 3 And I will bless those that bless you and curse the one who curses you. And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Abram was a Hebrew (Gen 14:13 ). He belonged to Eber line. The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, show the line that God would use to bring his only begotten son Jesus Christ into the world. But where did we get the name Jews. A name applied first to the people living in Judah after the Babylonian Captivity, all these descendants of Abraham were called Jews. The northing tribes were called Israel and the southing tribes were called Jews (compose of Judah and Benjamin tribes).

Where did we get the name Israel from, it can be found in Genesis 32:28 and he (man in verse 24, or an angle Hosea I2:40) said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel (that mean ruling with God). Israel is the only group of people that can trace their line or beginning from Abram’s call by God, about 2090 B.C. till now.

Israel gave• us The bible by the Holy Spirit 2 Tim 3; 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God., 2 Pet 1 :21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man : but holy man of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 39 B.C.-325 A.D.
Rome, the dreadful and terrible beast of Daniel 7, decided to lord over the promise land and God covenant people. During these centuries, Rome laid siege to Jerusalem three times (39 B.C., and 135 A.D.). Over 1,000,000 Jews were killed when Titus destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D., and an estimated 97,000 were taken into slavery and captivity.

The Land
What most people do not know is that there are two Old Testament covenants pertaining to the land of Israel. The Abrahamic Covenant gives the title of the land to the Jews an in perpetuity. New Jerusalem comes down from heaven (Rev 21:2, 10) but not touching the earth. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it (Rev 21 :22). And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.<br />

Oh how wonderful it is to be in right relationship with the Heavenly Father through His Son Christ Jesus our Lord. It is wonderful to hear that you know how to withdraw to yourself to get in the presence of our God.

However, it is through interaction with others that our Love for God is perfected as it says in I John

4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

It is through trying to win others to Christ Jesus that we discover our own weaknesses. But it is through those weaknesses that we learn that we are that much more in need of the Heavenly Father. And it is through that need that grows us more in love with the Heavenly Father through His Son Christ Jesus our Lord.

It is is good to withdraw and spend time with our Lord in prayer. It is those times that should give us strength to go out and face those, especially our brothers in Christ, that may not understand or even agree with us.</description>

Sometimes we can become so wrapped up in gaining the acceptance of other Christians that we lose sight of God’s purpose for our lives; to bring the lost to Christ by living our lives according to His will and way.

It is good to be accepted by others because we need one another for support, fellowship and companionship. Yet, we must never lose sight of the fact that “Only what we do for Christ Jesus will last and lead to an everlasting reward.”

There are times when I feel so alone. Surrounding myself with others oftentimes makes me feel even more lonely. It is when I turn to the written Word of God that the lonliness subsides. God’s words automatically lead me into a state of praise and worship. The Holy Spirit brings a song to my remembrance and I’m having a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord. The Creator of the universe is fellowshipping with me!

I thank Almighty God, my Heavenly Father, for my family and friends; but I thank Him most of all for my JESUS, my one true friend.

I LOVE YOU JESUS. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND!</description>

<p>It is because of His mercy,grace, love and forgiveness that I am saved and not anything that I have done. Moreover, I can not save myself; lest any man can boast, it truly is a gift of God. The most wonderous gift of Father God, which is Christ Jesus, our Lord and King.</p>
<p>Sometimes we can become so wrapped up in gaining the acceptance of other Christians that we lose sight  of God&#8217;s purpose for our lives; to bring the lost to Christ by living our lives according to His will and way.</p>
<p>It is good to be accepted by others because we need one another for support, fellowship and companionship. Yet, we must never lose sight of the fact that &#8220;Only what we do for Christ Jesus will last and lead to an everlasting reward.&#8221;</p>
<p>There are times when I feel so alone. Surrounding myself with others oftentimes makes me feel even more lonely. It is when I turn to the written Word of God that the lonliness subsides. God&#8217;s words automatically lead me into a state of praise and worship. The Holy Spirit brings a song to my remembrance and I&#8217;m having a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord. The Creator of the universe is fellowshipping with me!</p>
<p>I thank Almighty God, my Heavenly Father, for my family and friends; but I thank Him most of all for my JESUS, my one true friend.</p>

The price of rice in the country has doubled over the past year, threatening the workers, who earn a monthly salary of just $25, with hunger. In Egypt, protests by workers over food prices rocked the textile center of Mahalla al-Kobra, north of Cairo, for two days last week, with two people shot dead by security forces. Hundreds were arrested, and the government sent plainclothes police into the factories to force workers to work. Food prices in Egypt have risen by 40 percent in the past year... Earlier this month, in the Ivory Coast, thousands marched on the home of President Laurent Gbagbo, chanting “we are hungry” and “life is too expensive, you are going to kill us. 
Similar demonstrations, strikes and clashes have taken place in Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Indonesia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Yemen, Ethiopia, and throughout most of sub-Saharan Africa.&quot; 
World Markets Collapse
Fallout from the sub-prime market continued to weigh heavily on the world markets for all of 2008 and into 2009.  The stock markets from around the world are turning in their worst performance since the Great Depression.   .  To allay recessionary concerns and boost sluggish economies, Central Banks cut key interest rates to historical lows.  In addition, many nations announced stimuli packages in an effort to turn the troubled economies around. 
Why are the world economies troubled?  Proverbs 14:34 states Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.  Sin causes nations to go into recessions.   When a nation goes into recession the poor are hurt the most.     The Heavenly Father through His Son Christ Jesus gives us the consequences of sin, but He also shows us a way out.   
Jeremiah 44:12  And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
In the above verse there are two things that God said He would do to Judah for refusing to obey His Word.  He would bring upon them the sword and famine.   The sword represents war and famine represents a failed economy.   
Nikolai Dmitriyevich Kondratiev (in some sources also referred as Kondratieff), Russian: (4 March 1892 - 17 September 1938) was a Russian economist in the Soviet Union.  He proposed a theory that Western capitalist economies have long term (50 to 60 years) cycles of boom followed by depression. 
The Russian economist discovered a principle that God expressed in the Bible.  It is called the period of Jubilee.   During the Jubilee period, which was the start of every fiftieth year, the nation of Israel was to rest soil, restore property and release all slaves.  
The Jubilee allowed a nation to get a fresh start.   It teaches a nation that we are no stronger than the weakest of us.   Many nations have fallen into the trap that they exist without the poor.   Therefore they do not care for the poor .    When you refuse to care for the poor you destroy your own nation.   Look at all the nations that are run by dictators and despots.   The poverty is great and the nations are weak.  It is only when we take of  the least of these that a nation prospers.

 Even though Christ Jesus our Lord said that the poor will always be with you.   The principles that God gave then are applicable now as we expericne a world wide downturn in economic growth.    The word economy has its origin in the Greek word, oikonomos, which means household manager.   Knowing how to manage our house is the key to managing the economy.   The word is used eight times in the New Testament.   
Luke 16:2: &quot;give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.&quot;
Luke 16:3: &quot;from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg&quot;
Luke 16:4: &quot;when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their&quot;
1 Corinthians 9:17: &quot;but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed&quot;
Ephesians 1:10: &quot;That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in&quot;
Ephesians 3:2: &quot;If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given&quot;
Colossians 1:25: &quot;a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for&quot;
1 Timothy 1:4: &quot;rather than godly edifying which is in faith:&quot; 

Ephesians 1:10 states that in God’s economy He will gather in one all things.  Economy,&quot; therefore, refers to any and all of God&#039;s dealings with creation. But it is also used in particular to speak of God&#039;s actions undertaken to save and rescue fallen mankind.     The Heavenly Father knows how to take care of His children.   The greater question is, are we willing to trust the divine hand of God.   God gives the rain which causes crops to grow.   God stays earthquakes and tsunamis.    We are dependant on God for our self existent.     
The world has tried to through money at the problems wihout realizing that if we do not turn to God the problems will only get worst.   
Wisdom of Men
The Glass Stegall Act of the 1930’s in the United States of America separated Commercial Banks and Investment Banks according to their businesses.  Although this bill was repealed in 1999 when commerical and investment banks were allowed to consolidate, this financial crisis has fomented discussion on greater regulation of all financial institutions. Hedge funds. private equity funds, collaterized debt obligations, credit swap obligations which now operate virtually without regulation could come under  the purview of regulators.   Merger of federally insured deposits institutions with unregulated institutions with unregulated products led to greater risk in the financial sector. Level 3 assets are holdings that are so illiquid, or trade so infrequently, that they have no reliable price, so their valuations are based on management&#039;s best guess.  Both Merrill Lynch and Citigroup experienced significant write-downs because of exposure to level 3 assets.  Some financial institutions have exposure to level 3 assets that outstrip the capital base of the company.  Therefore if the subprime inspired financial crisis continues not only will we see further regulations of the financial industry, but also the possible collapse of companies with a preponderant exposure to unregulated products.  This same action or overreaction happened with the Sarbanes Oxley Act, passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002.  The act was passed to keep U.S. institutions from financial deception and misleading their investors and shareholders.  WorldCom’s and Enron’s bankruptcy precipated this act being signed into law after shareholders lost billions due to unscrupulous record keeping by the corporations’ management.  A study done by the Victoria University of Wellington in a study listed the following short comings of Sarbanes Oxley: increased the costs of auditing, governance and human capital, and compliance more generally; induced a mis-match between auditors and firms; encouraged fims to delist or otherwise stay below the regulatory radar; lowered corporate investment and risk-taking; and had ambiguous effects on the quality of investor information and capital market efficiency.  If there is inaction by lawmakers the risk of the financial crisis worsening are great, however, with any action there is also the risk of overreacting and causing more harm than good.


Trust In Christ Jesus the Son of God

		<description>Beware of wolves in sheep clothing.   It is not enough to say that you are a Christian.  There must be a lifestyle that follows.   Jesus is the Word as written in the Gospel of John.   The only way we know Jesus is by wearing the Word of God.  

Christ Jesus said we are washed clean through the Words He has spoken.  It is through the Words of Jesus, that we know who the Heavenly Father is.   Jesus our Lord said that He came to declare the Father.   He had to declare the Father to us because we do not know who He is. This is why we worshiped idols   and were slaves to our passions as we though that we loved God.   The Son of God declared that our thinking of God was in error.   It is through living by the Word of God that we know who Jesus is and that He commands us everywhere to repent.

The false prophet, teacher and hypocrite try to give a religion that does not require change.   They portray themselves as being righteous without requiring any change.   Christ Jesus came because we were sinners.  He came to declare us as sinners.   We learn about sin through the Bible.   Galatians 5, I Corinthians 6, and Romans 6 show us sins that we choose to ignore.   Whether it is homosexuality, prejudice, pride, adultery, fornication, we live in a time that these sins are being made acceptable by the false teachers.

The true man of God chooses to deny the flesh and all the false teachings that he may be one with God through the Living Word.  Trust the Holy Spirit who comes from the Father and is sent by the Son to lead you to the truth.  The Bible says we have an unction from the Holy One and no man need teach you.   If you have truly accepted Christ Jesus, then you know the sheep from the hypocrite.   Christ Jesus our Lord said My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow.   Trust Jesus.   He will not deceive you.</description>

		<description>What does it mean to say that one is a Christian?   Many say that they are Christians.   A well known person recently said that only 39% of the people in this country are Christians.  If that is the case, how would you define the 39%.   What qualities and characteristics are universal for all Christians​?  

It is important to know what a Christian is because if you do not know who you are others will define who you are.    Christian means Christ like.   We should have the attributes and characteristics of Yeshua (Jesus) our Lord.   

There are many that refer to Romans 10:9,10.    These verses or some simulation of these verses are often said in altar calls given to the repentant.    Is it merely enough to simply make a confession with your mouth and say that you are saved?   The misunderstanding of the word heart has misled some people.    “That if thou shall confess with thou mouth and believe in thy HEART.....thou shalt be saved.”   Your heart is the seat of your emotions.  What is in your heart is what you do without thinking or rationalizing.   It is similar to a knee-jerk reaction.   Yeshua HaMashiach said that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  What we believe in our heart is that everything that Christ Jesus did for us is settled in our hearts.   There is no doubt about His atoning death and resurrection, His sinless life, that He is the only Begotten Son of God and that He will return again for all believers to take them with Him.

Now if we believe these things, then we should also want to please our Heavenly Father through His Son Yeshua HaMashiach.  Once again our Lord said they honor me with their lips but their hearts are from me.    If the Son of the Living God is in our Hearts, we should keep His word.   His word is the Bible.   It is the Bible that points out our shortcomings and where we have come short of the Glory of God.   A saved person that has accepted Yeshua HaMashiach, will live by the Word of God given in the Bible.   

In other words, one way that we know that we are saved is a changed life.   Our life changes because of our Love for Yeshua, the Son of the Living God.  We love Him so much that we are willing to change our life based on His word.   Everyone has to be changed because all have sinned.   No one comes before the Lord perfect.    It is through our faith in HaMashiach (Christ) that we allow His word to change us.   And if we are changed then can we truly know that we are saved.</description>

		<description>How much does God love  you?    During this time of the year many people are feeling lonely.    They survived the holidays, but the loneliness followed them from last year to this year.   Loneliness is a frame of mind that is not eased by people surrounding you.   Loneliness is best expressed by intimacy.   It is through intimacy that loneliness is overcome.

Intimacy is a human state that occurs when people engage in  behaviors that allows them to know someone at a close personal level.   It is this type of intimacy that the world craves but looks for it in the wrong places.   My father once said you can be married to a woman for twenty years and wake up and say good morning stranger.   We as people are constantly in a state of change.   Whether we are growing older, learning more, health failing, or loosing our youthful looks, we are changing.

It is change that destroys intimacy.   People love knowing they can take comfort and trust in someone or thing that is close to them.  We need to trust and believe that there are things in live that will not change.   Things like the love of a parent, the love of a spouse, Christian fellowship, reliable job, safe neighborhood and financial security are some of the things that we would like to see never change.  But as stated earlier, we are in a constant state of flux.   We do not know if the job, loved one or anything else will be the same years down the road as it is today.   How many couples do you know that married for love, but a few years later, they are in divorce court saying the most horrible things about each other.

Intimacy requires work.   if we really want to know someone we must work at the relationship.   There was no better person on earth than Christ Jesus our Lord, but yet people turned against Him.   It required work for the disciples to develop relationship with Christ.   Initially they denied Him, cursed Him, deserted Him and betrayed Him.   Did Jesus change who He was for them to love Him.   NO.   The people changed.   They began to work on their relationship with Christ Jesus our Lord.   The more they worked on who they were in approaching Christ Jesus, the more intimate they became with Him.   The more intimate they were with Christ Jesus, the better they knew Him.   They knew Him well enough to give their lives for Him.   Now that is love.  When you love someone so much that you would be willing to give your life for that person.  That is what Christ Jesus did for us.

If you want to know intimacy and love this year, work on your relationship.   Forget about changing the other person and focus more on changing yourself.

Even if the person or people that you are trying to show affection toward do not respond, you can always depend on Christ Jesus, the Son of God not changing.   And because He does not change you can develop  intimacy with Him that will not leave you disappointed but lead you to true love.

		<description>Rebellion in the Church

The evidence of Being Filled with the Holy Spirit is signs, wonders and a changed life.   First Corinthians 12th chapter and Romans 12th chapter contain gifts that show that a person is filled with Spirit of God.   However, even after being filled with the Spirit of God, God never takes away your will.   He wants obedient and willing servants.   1 Thessalonians 5:19  Quench not the Spirit.   After a person has received the Spirit of God, it is then the requirement of the church leaders to teach the Word of God.   The Apostle Peter had to be corrected by the Apostle Paul.

Galatian 2:11 ¶  But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
12  For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13  And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14  But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

2 Timothy 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

If a person does not want to heed the teachings from God’s Word then he is a heretic and you should leave them alone.

Titus 3:10  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

		<description>Dealing with Disappointment


Very timely Bible meditations below for those who have suffered disappointments..    There was a 19 year old girl that we were praying for God through His Son Christ Jesus to heal.  All the indications were there that she would be raised up from her hospital bed but she was not.   This led me to delve deeper into understanding of God’s Word.   Your second point I found to be the major reason people are disappointed with God.   They do not understand God’s purpose for their lives.    Healings and miracles impress us, but they do not impress God.   While we are praying for miracles and healings, God is looking for faith.   Faith is trusting God with your life – NO MATTER WHAT THE OUTCOME.   

The Hebrew boys in the Book of Daniel said whether God delivers us or not, we know that He can.    

Daniel 3:17  If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18  But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

They prayed, they trusted God, but even if God did not give them what they were requesting from Him, they still Had faith in God.   Many people have faith in results or the object of their prayer.   The Heavenly Father desires faith in Himself, not faith in what He can do for you.  It is this type of teaching that lead people to be disappointed in God.   Yes we know God can raise the dead, but if He does not, it should not change our faith in Him.   The fact that He saved us should be reason enough for us never to be disappointed in Him.

Psalms 44:6  For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
Psalms 56:4  In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Psalms 56:11  In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

We see the same thing in Matthew 26 while Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior was in the Garden of Gethsemane.   He prayed the first time Father if it be possible let this bitter cup pass from me.  However, Christ Jesus our Lord prayed the same prayer twice more.

Matthew 26:39  And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Matthew 26:42  He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done
Matthew 26:44  And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words

The thing that allowed Christ Jesus to remain faithful and not disappointed was the faith He had in His Father.   He knew the purpose for His here on earth.  He also knew that it required bearing the sins of the world.   A person that was sinless and never knew sin was to bear what he never did and that is sin.   It was a heavy burden, but His faith in His Father allowed Him to remain resolute.  If we know God’s will for our life, tragedies and disappointment will not shake our faith in God.  If our faith is not shaken, then we are not disappointed, for we know that all things work together for good to those that love the Lord that are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

ANSWER: That is a broad subject, but the Bible does have a lot to say about managing your finances.  Below is a list of Bible references you can look up. 		<description>How can you be kingdom minded in a world that does not teach kingdom principles. What is the Kingdom of God and how do we approach and enter into it? The answers to these questions are essential for every person aspiring to eternal life in Christ Jesus. 

Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are used interchangeably in the New Testament. The one major difference being the Kingdom of Heaven is used only in the Gospel of Matthew and nowhere else in the New Testament. Matthew was written to the Jewish community in Palestine and therefore relied heavily on Jewish terms. However the term Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Theos was a term Greeks or Gentiles could better understand. 

Kingdom of Heaven is the Kingdom of Uranus in the Greek. Uranus was the sky/heaven god. To prevent the Gentiles from confusing the idolatrous form of worship from true worship the other writers in the New Testament used the term Theos when writing about the Kingdom. It is the same confusion that is in the Ecclessia/church today. There has not been a proper distinction from the things of idolatry when compared to the things of God. The Jewish believers understood the differences but the Gentiles coming into the faith had problems distancing themselves from their sinful past. 

1 Corinthians 6:9,10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 
The Kingdom of Heaven is the promise that God gives to every believer. Daniel 7:14 gave a glimpse of the future Kingdom to the Jews. The Son of Man in this Book was given dominion and a Kingdom that shall be everlasting. Anticipation of the future Kingdom established hope in the heart of the Jews no matter what problems befell them - and there were many. Because of their hope for a New Kingdom they were able to persevere. How could they maintain hope in a Kingdom when life as they knew it offered oppression, grief, heartache and even death. 

If we want the same hope that does not wither with the pressures of time we need to understand the message of the Kingdom of God. One of the first messages that our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus preached along with the apostles was the message of the Kingdom. 
Mark 1:14,15 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 
He preached the Kingdom because it should be the desire of every believer. The prayer, that we often call the Lord’s Prayer, states “thy kingdom come”. We should look for and desire the Kingdom to manifest on earth. The Kingdom is God’s will being done on earth. The Kingdom is being subjected to a righteous leader. The Kingdom is joy and peace in the Holy Spirt (Romans 14:17). It is not based on man’s reputation before other men, but it is based on a person’s ability to submit to the will of God. That is why publicans and harlots (Matthew 21:31) will be a part of the Kingdom. They will have acknowledged their transgressions and also allowed the healing power of Christ Jesus to not only transform their lives but place them in a Kingdom that is reserved for only the best of God’s creation. 

Christ Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21). Behold what love the Heavenly Father has for us that He would deposit His Kingdom within us. Healings, miracles and whatever else we need, He has already given it to us. To be Kingdom minded is not only to think on God’s presence here on earth, it is also to receive what He has for us to make it into His Kingdom. 
Luke 18:29,30 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. 
However, the one condition that goes with the Kingdom is repentance. Without repentance we cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. It is the righteousness of God that propels us into His Kingdom. 
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 
Not only does repentance produce righteousness, but it also adds unto us the things we need. Therefore the incentive to receive good things from God should lead us unto righteousness. God wants to give us the Kingdom ( Luke 12:32) but we must be willing to receive the Kingdom by changing our lives. 

We know that the Kingdom of God is nigh by the miracles the Lord Jesus performed.

The Jews were also witnesses to the miracles of God, but because they refused to repent, Matthew 21:43 states the Kingdom was taken from them “and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof”. 

Let us not be misled by looking to the god of this world and have the Kingdom taken from us. Instead let us look unto the one that is able to keep us from falling and present us faultless in the Kingdom of His dear Son. 

Stop looking for answers in the world’s system when God has already given us answers in Him.

		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How can you be kingdom minded in a world that does not teach kingdom principles. What is the Kingdom of God and how do we approach and enter into it? The answers to these questions are essential for every person aspiring to eternal life in Christ Jesus. </p>
<p>Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are used interchangeably in the New Testament. The one major difference being the Kingdom of Heaven is used only in the Gospel of Matthew and nowhere else in the New Testament. Matthew was written to the Jewish community in Palestine and therefore relied heavily on Jewish terms. However the term Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Theos was a term Greeks or Gentiles could better understand. </p>
<p>Kingdom of Heaven is the Kingdom of Uranus in the Greek. Uranus was the sky/heaven god. To prevent the Gentiles from confusing the idolatrous form of worship from true worship the other writers in the New Testament used the term Theos when writing about the Kingdom. It is the same confusion that is in the Ecclessia/church today. There has not been a proper distinction from the things of idolatry when compared to the things of God. The Jewish believers understood the differences but the Gentiles coming into the faith had problems distancing themselves from their sinful past. </p>
<p>1 Corinthians 6:9,10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.<br />
The Kingdom of Heaven is the promise that God gives to every believer. Daniel 7:14 gave a glimpse of the future Kingdom to the Jews. The Son of Man in this Book was given dominion and a Kingdom that shall be everlasting. Anticipation of the future Kingdom established hope in the heart of the Jews no matter what problems befell them &#8211; and there were many. Because of their hope for a New Kingdom they were able to persevere. How could they maintain hope in a Kingdom when life as they knew it offered oppression, grief, heartache and even death. </p>
<p>If we want the same hope that does not wither with the pressures of time we need to understand the message of the Kingdom of God. One of the first messages that our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus preached along with the apostles was the message of the Kingdom.<br />
Mark 1:14,15 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.<br />
He preached the Kingdom because it should be the desire of every believer. The prayer, that we often call the Lord’s Prayer, states “thy kingdom come”. We should look for and desire the Kingdom to manifest on earth. The Kingdom is God’s will being done on earth. The Kingdom is being subjected to a righteous leader. The Kingdom is joy and peace in the Holy Spirt (Romans 14:17). It is not based on man’s reputation before other men, but it is based on a person’s ability to submit to the will of God. That is why publicans and harlots (Matthew 21:31) will be a part of the Kingdom. They will have acknowledged their transgressions and also allowed the healing power of Christ Jesus to not only transform their lives but place them in a Kingdom that is reserved for only the best of God’s creation. </p>
<p>Christ Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21). Behold what love the Heavenly Father has for us that He would deposit His Kingdom within us. Healings, miracles and whatever else we need, He has already given it to us. To be Kingdom minded is not only to think on God’s presence here on earth, it is also to receive what He has for us to make it into His Kingdom.<br />
Luke 18:29,30 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.<br />
However, the one condition that goes with the Kingdom is repentance. Without repentance we cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. It is the righteousness of God that propels us into His Kingdom.<br />
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.<br />
Not only does repentance produce righteousness, but it also adds unto us the things we need. Therefore the incentive to receive good things from God should lead us unto righteousness. God wants to give us the Kingdom ( Luke 12:32) but we must be willing to receive the Kingdom by changing our lives. </p>
<p>We know that the Kingdom of God is nigh by the miracles the Lord Jesus performed.<br />
